How are you getting a loan after walking away from your last house?

Not now... just a canoe at the moment. However, one of my good friends has a 21' that he keeps parked on a trailer at his house all week and is dying for a place to put it. So, in exchange for you using my dock... he only has to let me use it whenever I want.

4 years ago now... credits 700's... debt to income is great... reserves are solid and wifey wasn't part of the foreclosure. So plenty of options working in my favor.

Isn't 4 Car Garage part owner in a building company? Maybe he can give you a discount.

Although Captain Morgan doesn't bring his insightful wit to this mb anymore, I'm pretty sure he was VP of nail pounding as well. Might want to take a flier on a PM with him as well, as I believe he had a significant stake in his company also.

He was VP of dead horse kicking as well. Probably still bent out of shape that I foreclosed on a home despite the fact that about 40% of homeowners in America followed my lead shortly after.

    1 or 5 and I wouldn't eliminate the extra bathroom in 1.

Why not? (serious question- curious for your thoughts)

The original master suite which is a bit larger, faces the street and has a bathroom that also connects to the pool. So this would technically be a guest bathroom as well.

So the owner took the 3 bedrooms on the other side of the house- 2 of which faced the water and took the smaller of the two and converted it into the large bathroom pictured. He turned the 2 rooms facing the water into a master suite. The master has a sliding glass door as well.

The weird thing is the original 2nd bathroom that these 3 rooms shared is not butted right up next to the new bathroom. Kind of useless and redundant. I would rather knock that wall out and demo the unused bathroom to make that spare room big enough to be a Den/guest room (I want to put in one of those nice shelving units that drops down into a guest bed).

I would then take the original master and turn it into 2 rooms for the kids.
