Valverde in a non save situation.......SMH
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.

M'eh......bad hitting w/ RISP (3-14), crucial error gives the game away.......just more of the same. Guess it's too much to ask to win three in a row.

Horrible Valverde will give the Rockies their 1st interleague win of the year.

Oh, not to mention this is the very next inning after some anonymous Colorado reliever made his way thru the heart of the Tigers' order in seven pitches

The Tigers really press their luck when they go into extra innings. Only a matter of time before defensive mistakes get them. Shame the offense couldn't do more against a complete bum like Francis.

And I think we all saw something like this coming from Valverde. I don't really know what you do with him...Benoit would be a better closer, but then who pitches the 8th?

I just saw the hit with the bases loaded... Looks like if he would have taken a step back instead of jumping he would have made the play. Probably not a DP but they would have only scored one and they would have had 2 outs

Yeah, but even before that, if Valverde had simply thrown (accurately) to second on Eric Young's awful bunt, then the Rockies probably don't score a single run.
