Dre Bly should be the least of the Lions worries right now....my god that O-Line is terrible...Kevin Jones may not rush for a 1,000 yards this year behind that crap.

I personally like dre bly because of his big play ability, but he gives too much space sometimes(either by his choice or by necessity of no pass rush). Speaking of pass rush, the front seven is not that good and the D-Line is extremely overrated. I know without blitzing you will not get much pressure, but how about the opening drive for the Bears. They ran straight at the two big tackles and got huge gains. The line at least has to stop the run with the so called "best tackle duo in the NFL." Why does the national media keep hyping the D-Line of the Lions every year.

Bly is slipping a litle though. I'm not going to sit here and trash him like maybe I should Fernando Bryant, but even when the Lions play their version of man coverage Bly has been getting beat bad on slants even in the pre-season. I know he can't be perfect all of the time, but on that one catch instead of tackling Justin Gage he looked like he just fell around his ankles.
