Ah the Mayor of New York is at is again. Now he is out to control the size drink you get if it is a POP. Yet, he isn't going put a CAP on how big a BEER can be. What a Blooming Idiot.

    nanny state...

now, businesses are going to make more $. charge more for a 16oz "large" and have people buy more...it's not like this stops anyone from going to the store and buying 2L's of coke or anything...

The New York health commissioner guy is a well-known wellness Nazi. He refuses to let individuals live their own lives. This has to be his doing.

Remember, government knows whats best for you. Your going to see more and more of this. So I guess its a matter of how far people are going to let themselves be pushed for their own good.

Here's the stupid part-it only applies to regular soda, and not diet. How exactly is the 7-11 going to police that? Stand over your shoulder if you get the big gulp cup and make sure you're not dispensing real coke into it?

Also-doesn't apply to beer-so a 40oz Bud is ok, but a 40 oz Sprite is bad for you?

It's unbelievably stupid and only applies to businesses that are under the control of the health department... anyone else doesn't have to follow it...
