I have AT&T and have had them for years going back to my Tilt, I have zero complaints and have the 4S now with the grand fathered Unlimited plan.
Work phone and AT&T. AT&T is awful. No reception up north, dropped calls. Hate AT&T for cell phone.

I have the Iphone 4s on Sprint with the unlimited data. The cell service is great. Never had one problem, but the data sucks.
My family place up north is in the west side of the state... Manistee/Frankfort area and I get perfect 3G reception up there. It's literally no different than being here. My in-laws place is Gaylord/Lewiston area and the reception there is total crap. Salt on the wound was that people there with Verizon had a perfect 3G signal.
I'm considering getting a Verizon MiFi for that (and a few other) reason.

Verizon has been legit, except for when I went to Cincinnati and everyone but me had service.

IMO, in Michigan it doesn't matter but if you're in a big city such as Chicago or NYC with large buildings and millions of people everywhere, I would go with VW.
