Holy crap, the team put together a full game. Max was a little erratic, but he gave them six decent innings, the bats woke up a bit, and the bullpen was great. I'm expecting losses in the next two games, but it's nice to know the team can actually play well on occasion.

Not really. I still think they can put together performances like tonight on fairly regular basis, and I'm not quite convinced the White Sox are the offensive juggernaut they've been over the last two weeks. The Tigers are still just 5 games back, so I don't think the season is over by a long shot, but they definitely need to string some wins together soon. I Just don't see it happening with Crosby and Porcello going back-to-back against Sabathia and Kuroda.

Yeah, Max has been really good in his last 3 starts. That home run he gave up to Saltalasuckia, was actually a good pitch. A fast ball down in the zone, and he just happened to tag it. It was almost like Crash told him where the pitch was going to be after Laloosh shook off too many pitches.

But yeah, it was a complete game with the team actually focused and paying attention to fundamentals for a change. Manufactured some runs, stole some bases and did what they needed to do to get on base and score some runs. Now do that again tonight and then we're talking.

Im sure Berry won't be able to keep getting on base at the rate he has for this short stint but when he does its funs to watch because he is able to steal at will. Adds an element to the team they've been lacking for a long while. Wish Jackson could be more effective stealing like Berry.
