    Default Concerts at Comerica tips

I've been to Comerica to see Springsteen & sat about 4 rows back swung wide to the left of the stage. Might be going down to see Jimmy Buffett but not sure if I'm interested in paying the $$ to sit on the field.
Has anyone ever sat in the stands for any shows & care to share any positive/negative feedback about your seats & there location?
BTW.....if any Tiger Season Ticket folks get a heads up on a pre-sale passcode I'd appreciate if you would be willing to pass it along. I'm actually gonna be in route to Detroit Metro when tix go onsale so it kinda sucks.

Sat in the upper deck for McCartney last year. Sound wasn't bad, a little echoey though. He was pretty far away though, and the crowd around me was pretty lame.

I've been to Comerica for 2 Kid Rock Shows and Eminem/Jay-Z. IMO opinion, unless you get a steal on the upper level seats (Like the Kid Rock Party Pack), it's not worth it to sit up there. I prefer sitting somewhere in the 100 levels depending on where the stage is located.

I went to see KISS and Aerosmith awhile ago now and I didn't like it all that much. The stage was on the field and we were in the stands, quite a ways back which led to an entire night of seeing the musicians hit a note on their instruments and then hearing it a little later. That delay just made it less enjoyable for me so my advice is to sit as close as possible unless you don't really care about whether there is a delay or not.

Seems like there could be a difference between sitting in the stands from behind the plate extending out towards 1st & 3rd base compared to sitting in the stands along the outfield sidelines.
wondering if there is a preference for that?

IIRC we were behind the plate, so I imagine the problems we had would be greatly lessened in the outfield side line area since you are getting close to the stage that way.

have been to two concerts there.. one in a suite along the third base line, another in the stands along 1st baseline.. Personally i think its a terrible concert venue, but would imagine upper deck seats are probably significantly worse than lower
