BOXING: OFT-Money Vs Cotto (with a Side of Suga vs the Ginger)

This actually could be decent match (although Floyd is the heavy favorite) if Cotto keeps the pressure on Floyd.

Floyd loves to play defense and so I am sure he is going to let Cotto throw a lot of punches that dont land/connect/or land cleanly, but Miguel has the power that if he does catch Floyd (as Mosley did early in his fight with Floyd) it could do some harm or actually hurt Floyd.

I think Floyd while he might not be the best "fighter" is probably the greatest pure boxer of our generation, he has no problem out pointing his opponents and taking a fight to the distance. He is insanely conditioned and 12 rounds is nothing for Floyd. Miguel has seemed to tire in later rounds and that COULD give Floyd a chance to attack in the later rounds and score an unusual (for floyd) and unlikely knock down/out (as floyd is not known for his power)

I still am taking Floyd in a decision by a fairly wide margin, just based on the fact that it is so hard to score against Floyd.

The Shell of Shane Mosley vs the Up and coming Ginger from Mexico also has the chance to either be very entertaining or a complete pile of poo.

Shane Mosley came in over weight for his championship fight against Canelo . What this means is if Shane were to win he would not become champion and Canelo would keep his belt. Now my friends here is where the BS is coming in . Did Mosley train as hard as he should have or has he already conceded the fight to Canelo. Ored is this the way Golden Boy wanted it to happen. Did Oscar tell Shane look man you have done everything in boxing we are going to let you win this fight but you wont become champion Canelo will retain his belt. This is enough to make me not take this bet. There is a game being played here I just don't like it. now Mosley really has nothing to lose.

Okay I have pulled my self together you all know how I get when I get excited. This is for all the people who were taking my advice on betting on Canelo DON'T DO IT!!!!!! I REPEAT DON'T DO IT. This is a suckers bet Mosley has never had a problem making weight before why all of a sudden he can't make weight. This means Mosley is coming into this fight really strong. I don't know what the odds are in Vegas right now but they have changed a lot in Mosley's favor.

And the conspiracy theorists are out already with two Golden Boy fighters.

Allow Shane to go out with a victory without "tarnishing" the up and comer Canelo's image as Shane didn't make weight. Mosley gets to leave on a win (which isn't likely) and the Ginger gets to keep his belt and has an excuse (with a whopping .5lbs over weight)

That said I still think Canelo wins easily vs Shane, I just hope Shane actually wants to fight tonight rather than just step in the ring, string the fight on and collect a check. With Canelo if he pressures Shane is going to have to fight until it ends or run for 12 rounds and lose a lopsided decision.

that could be the exact same time that floyd mayweather walks to the ring.

Canelo vs Manny, would IMO be a better fight than Manny VS Floyd. It would be a brawl. Canelo might need a fight or too more and that might be past the time that Manny said he is still going to fight.
