Gholston and Thomas involved in rollover accident
Two Michigan State football players from Metro Detroit were involved in a rollover accident Wednesday afternoon on I-96 near Brighton, but escaped with minor injuries.
Junior defensive end William Gholston and red-shirt freshman linebacker Lawrence Thomas "were shaken" by the crash, according to a statement released Thursday morning by MSU.
"The police responded within minutes of the accident," the statement read, "and thankfully, no one was seriously injured. Fortunately, both of them were wearing their seat belts and that made a difference in ensuring their safety.
Gholston attended Detroit Southeastern High School, and Thomas went to Detroit Renaissance.
It's the second car accident involved an MSU athlete in less than a month. Basketball player Adreian Payne was in a crash in his home state of Ohio in April, but also was uninjured.

Glad to hear they are both alright. It always amazes me when someone is in a roll over accident and able to walk away pretty much un hurt.
