Shane Jones, a 6-foot-1, 220-pound inside linebacker from Cincinnati Moeller, committed to Michigan State according to several reports, including Rivals.com and the Cincinnati Enquirer.
"I felt I knew it was the place for me. Why wait? So I decided to commit," Jones told the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Jones, who turned down Oklahoma, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State and Texas A&M among others, joins Jon Reschke, a four-star linebacker from Birmingham Brother Rice who has already committed to Michigan State.
Cincinnati Moeller has become a pipeline of sorts for Michigan State, producing former All-American linebacker Greg Jones as well as current defensive end Marcus Rush and incoming freshman receiver Monty Madaris.
"They were telling me it was a great place to be and that I would really enjoy it," Jones told the Enquirer of his conversations with Rush and Madaris.
