David Terrell arrested for domestic battery

Former Michigan and NFL receiver David Terrell is being held on $10,000 bond for a domestic battery charge.

Court documents allege he grabbed his ex-girlfriend during an argument inside his high-rise Chicago apartment and threatened to throw her off a balcony. The 33-year-old was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and appeared in court Saturday.

Terrell's attorney declined to comment, saying his client is innocent. Terrell was arrested Friday. Chicago police say the woman checked into a Chicago hospital after leaving Terrell's apartment and contacted police.

Terrell was drafted in the first round by the Bears in 2001. He played four seasons with the Bears, and one with the Denver Broncos in 2005. He finished his career with 128 receptions and nine touchdowns.

Terrell, who is fourth among Michigan's career leaders in receiving yards with 2,317, is due in court April 30.

He played 6 NFL seasons... That's 2 more than the league average. Plus at one of the hardest positions to stay competitive at...

I'm not sure it was busting out as much as getting passed up for new contracts with incoming classes

I always thought he was slow. Like how Dwayne Jarrett or Reggie Williams could out body guys in college but it didn't mean **** in the league. Remember that Reggie Williams game vs Michigan?
