The current location of the Palace is awful, but I don't think moving the arena to Detroit is the solution.

the whole "the palace is the reason the crowd doesnt show up" is a joke. the pistons suck, thats why the crowd doesnt show

Agree 100%. If the pistons were worth going to people would be going... Just like they did when they were good. I won't even watch them play on TV let alone pay $$$ to go watch that **** team

Didn't they lead the league in attendance when they were good? Piston fans are just band wagon, just like every other fan base. It has nothing to do with the arena being in AH. (last minute marklar edit ftw)

The solution is to put a better product on the court. They packed the house for years when the Pistons were a good team making deep playoff runs. If Joe rights the ship or is fired and replaced by somebody else who does then the Palace will have no problem selling out just as it has in the past. People aren't going to shell out their hard earned doe in this economy to see a crappy team play. Swallow your pride Joe, tank it and get the #1 pick.
