because it is impossible for him to get more penalties for celebrating defensive TDs than scoring TDs

you said he had 3 TDs last year, so for him to be more likely to get a penalty celebrating defensive TDs he would have had to have 4 penalties for celebrating DTDs which was not the case.

Mark me down as being pro-Nate. That contract looks bad now but back when CJ was on an island in the WR department it was the price that had to be paid to get a decent FA WR here to make opposing DC's think twice about swinging extra coverage CJ's way. Same with KVB. Bad teams have to overpay for decent FA players. That's just the way the NFL works. If CJ is making all the big plays because teams can't triple him then you're getting what you paid for from Nate. He's here to do one thing. Force DC's to account for him so they can't devote all of their attention to CJ and when he's doing his job CJ can, should and has put up monster numbers.
