So basically you can do whatever you want in the playoffs. Nuts.

Well generally it takes something major for them to suspend a guy in the playoffs or the guy to get hurt and being that Z got up and skated off I knew they were not going to do **** about it. If this was regular season no doubt he would have been suspended.

What so hard to understand about this

NEW YORK -- Nashville Predators defenseman Shea Weber has been fined $2,500, the maximum allowed under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for delivering a blow to the head of Detroit forward Henrik Zetterberg in Game 1 of the teams' Western Conference Quarterfinal series in Nashville on Wednesday, April 11, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

well, if it wasn't just blatant I could see that but he just took the guy's head and slammed it into the wall. Not even remotely in the actual flow of the game.

Yeah, it was ridiculous.. not like he checked him from behind and the end result was his head hitting the glass.. he palmed the back of his head and slammed it. so stupid

Agree and I think he should have received a suspension but I didn't expect the NHL to do it with the way they generally handle these things in the playoffs.

Here is a suspension in the playoffs and a major factor in this ruling was the injury. Also Bitz is a nothing player and the Canks won't be missing anything without him in the lineup.

Wouldn't be too sure about that, only 9 players on the ice for an optional skate today.

Calling The Mick a "bit of a homer" is akin to calling Terrell Owens a "bit of a prima-donna".
