Heard a lot of details about Bubba since the win: Father died in 2010 from lung cancer, which is why he uses the pink driver. Also just had a baby boy. Never had a golf lesson or watched his swing on video. I'm happy he won. Heard him interviewed and seems like a really appreciative, down-to-earth guy.

I don't hate MCJ. He's funny to **** with because the response is always some form of "welllll exxxxccuuuuuuuuuse me for not being perfect.". I do think that he looks for things in sports that I don't really care about, like the whole "who wouldn't be proud to have Tim tebow as a son" comment. That's totally something grandmothers love, turning sports into a good guy contest.

And I do think that, considering the climate of sports currently, if you want to root for a guy because you perceive them to be a good person you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
