This team just has no energy. And with Helm out, we lost what little speed we actually had.

Oh well, i'm over it. Don't see a cup this year. When Datsyuk seemingly isn't giving it his all...you know something is amiss with the team. Hopefully a reload happens this offseason and we can pull Parise or someone in to add some more speed and scoring and knock Bertuzzi to line 3 permanantly.

And for all the SH!T that Hudler gets....he's 2nd on the team in goals (only 1 behind Franzen)....with 23 of his 25 at even strength. I wonder how many goals he could have had this year if he hadn't been playing on the point (out of place) on the powerplay most of the year.

Personally I think people are over reacting a little bit with the Dead wing stuff and the Wings are dead already. I think they are getting somethings straight in the last few games here starting with the PK that had been TERRIBLE. Haven't allowed a PP goal in the last 4 games and hopefully they continue to fine tune their game and get everyone rolling a little more by the 1st game of the playoffs. Also really like the addition of Nyquist to the Pav/Mule line. And hopefully Helm can get back out there by the time rd 2 rolls around and bring some needed speed to the lineup. Also Howard will hopefully start to get himself back into a groove with the last few games being that he has been in and out of the lineup so much really since the all star break.

Interesting stat I heard on K&A today, the higher the winning % the last 10 games, the worse off the Wings normally do in the playoffs.

The only anomaly was in 08 when the won the Cup, they finished the season going 6-2-1. That's a pretty big anomaly if you ask me so take it for what its worth. I have no idea what they are going to do in the playoffs, they could lose in 1 on win the Cup and I wouldn't be surprised.

They've been so up and down this year having 2 separate 7 game losing streaks and like 2 separate 6-7 winning streaks. Which team shows up is anyone's guess.

I thought they were fine yesterday and even Friday. Puck didn't go in. It happens. They were putrid against Columbis last week but not the last two games.

I wonder how we can spin this slump into a positive? The Wings will be one of the only teams with the potential to get healthier as the playoffs go on... They haven't "peaked" yet... They got all the bad luck out of their system...

Franzen looks awful. He can't even receive a pass without booting it to the opposing team. Some big-game player. [/reverse_jinx]
