http://www.mlive.com/tigers/index.ss...oug_fis_1.htmlDoug Fister will make his final Grapefruit League start of the spring when the Detroit Tigers play the Houston Astros today at Joker Marchant Stadium.
The Tigers also have a split-squad team playing a road game against the New York Mets today in Port St. Lucie.
Fister is 3-0 with a 2.03 ERA this spring but missed his last start due to a sore middle finger that flared up March 23 in a start against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Phil Coke, Joaquin Benoit, Collin Balester and Jose Valverde are also scheduled to pitch for the Tigers today.
Boesch was scratched from his game with a stiff neck. Doesn't look too serious.
Another good day for a couple of 2011 draft picks. Tyler Collins went 2-for-3 with a walk against Houston, and James McCann went 3-for-4 against the Mets, with a grand slam.
