Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey remains out, and Ben Gordon will start again, in a 7:30 game tonight against the Miami Heat.
Gordon started in place of Stuckey Wednesday in Denver and scored 45 points while shooting 9 of 9 on 3-pointers, tying the NBA record he already shared with Latrell Sprewell for most 3-pointers in a game without a miss.
An MRI on Stuckey's bruised toe showed no structural damage, according to the Pistons. His status remains day to day.
Stuckey initially hurt the toe late in a victory over Sacramento last week. He played through it in the next game, at Phoenix, but clearly was playing in pain throughout the second half. He played again Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers but was unable to make the penetration moves which have become the benchmark of his game.
