Blind Brackets

Saw this posted over at MGoBlog

They remove the team names and let you pick based on RPI Range, Seed Range, Hot Streak, Experience, Size, Offense, Defense, and 3Pt Shooting.

My bracket ended up being pretty damn reasonable, with the exception of Vanderbilt making the title game against Kentucky. I had UM losing to Temple, State making the Final Four, and the only real upsets were Belmont making it to the Sweet 16, and St. Bonaventure taking down Florida State.

Good times.

Pretty cool! I ended up with Syracuse over Indiana though...Yuck!

Interesting. I was favoring teams that had high offense and defense ratings, but then occasionally going for upsets with teams that had high ratings for threes and size.

I was favoring teams that had good defense with at least a solid offense, and who was riding the hot streak.

Yeah, I ended up with Kansas over Indiana. Something must be strange with their rating of Indiana. Kansas I can understand.

And IU beat MSU to make it into finals.

My final four consisted of Kentucky, Michigan State, tO$U, and Kansas. The Jayhawks knocked off Kentucky to win the title. Had Michigan losing to South Florida in the 2nd round.

My final 4 was Duke, Kansas, Vanderbilt, and MSU with KU beating MSU in the final

had duke, msu, kansas and ohio st with kansas beating msu in the final. michigan losing to ohio. only shocking outcomes to me were having picked davidson v long beach and ohio v south florida with davidson and south florida making it to the 16.
