Default R.J. Shelton, RB, Beaver Dam (WI) - MSU VERBAL

    5'11 185lbs; 4.4 40

    Wisconsin Legacy

Plans to commit to MSU on Feb25th Junior Day.

Top RB in WI, likely top 3 player in the state overall.

Speed back that will compliment current power-back commit Gerald Holmes.

Will Dantonio accept it or make him go home and think about it for a few weeks?

lol, I'm sure he will accept. He usually only does that if it was the kid's first time on campus or something like that. Shelton has already visited unofficially, and the staff has been recruiting him for a while. I wouldn't be shocked if is considering him a commit.

Shelton (5-11, 185), who ran for 2,048 yards and 34 touchdowns as a junior, chose Michigan State over Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.

"I liked everything about Michigan State and wanted to be part of the program. The coaches and the place itself just fit me the best," Shelton told SpartanMag.com. "I was able to sit down and meet with Coach Dantonio this morning and we talked quite a bit. The coaches were excited when I told them. They said they cannot wait to coach me and am looking forward to helping me become a great player and young man."
