I need to know the basic rules. I'm a total newbie so can someone break down how the draft works, starters, bench, etc.?

I'm scouring the webs right now looking for player rankings. I have no concept of value right now.

auction draft means we all start with 260 (I think) minus whatever the kept players salaries are, and go in order nominating a player to be up on the auction. Anyone can bid and once a top price is given you win the player. Goes like this till our roster is filled. We have c/1b/2b/3b/ss/3 OF/DH and 5 SP spots and an RP spot (you can use anyone with RP eligibility there even if they are currently starting games despite tommyz's butthurt about this rule).
