I don't think Hoke is afraid of Meyer, I don't think Meyer is worried about Hoke, and I don't think there are any crazy games going on here. Ohio State probably hasn't offered because they have higher priorities.

I am, however, a bit skeptical about this McCray kid. Something seems off here.

I guess they are worried he will grow into a DE, something they don't need right now.

Even if he commits I see it as a soft commit given his dad played at OSU

ESPNU 150 Watch List outside linebacker Mike McCray II (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood-Madison) has set a date to make his decision.

McCray, one of the top outside linebackers in the Midwest, will announce his commitment on Mar. 8 at Trotwood-Madison High School. He has a final six of Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Tennessee.

This weekend, McCray visited Illinois, and next week he plans to visit Michigan just a few days before his announcement. He also visited Michigan during the season for its game against Notre Dame in September.

McCray is the son of former Ohio State linebacker Michael McCray. The Buckeyes have not offered McCray II.

Anyways, they might not let him commit if he wants to...like CB says, he may be a tad overrated. Michigan coaches like Levenberry and O'Daniel more, and are considered leaders for both.
