Since when is an assessment of a players professional prospects ragging on him? On another board I discussed how Cousins would at best be a back up player and pointed out what most scouting sites had referenced as to why. The Spartan fans on said board went right to the "You are just a Spartan hater" card within minutes. Right now cbs has him projected as a 4th round pick, and the 12th rated Running Back. Here is their analysis prior to this season:
Listed at 6-2 and 245-pounds, he has an intriguing blend of size, power and speed, showing the ability to run away from defenders or also run over them. Bell, who is also a reliable receiving target, carries his weight well and has the footwork to make would-be tacklers miss, but also isn't afraid to lower his pads and deliver some blows, keeping his legs churning through contact.
He needs to be more productive and show more consistent vision between the tackles, but he has intriguing tools and could move up draft boards with a big 2012 season.
Now his longest run this year was 40 yards, which he did a few times. However, he also had 4 games where he did not have a carry for over 10 yards.
Greed is not protecting what you have. It's demanding what you don't have on the backs of others
Bell is an excellent college back. How that translates though is questionable. Thats all i'm saying.

I think he could be a better version of Shonn Greene which could be valuable in the NFL. If he went to a team like the Packers in the second round I wouldn't feel good about it.
I realize I'm putting this here for you to read... but please, don't talk about it.
