His teams have made it out of the first round once in eight years. My point stands.

He can make a team good but can't co-exist or fit into any system but one that features him slowing the ball down. He is prolly the 2nd hard guy to guard in the league. An unstoppable scorer but he can't do it by himself and his game does really allow anyone else to shine.

In those 7 seasons that his team didn't get out of the first round, they were swept 3 times and lost 4-1 three times. The other time they 4-2. Yeah, they were ultra competitive.

Not really fair, the West was pretty stacked for most of those years and it's not like he was playing with lots of talent. KG in his prime couldn't do **** in that West either.

You can win with Melo, you just have to have the right secondary guy and Amare isn't it.
