NOTE: If you having troubles logging in, staying logged, getting "not authorised" messages, id/password issues, please scroll to the bottom of this page for some FAQ's which should fix your issue.
Whatever you'd like to call it, we'd like to point out some of the new features which are available to you.
1.) Notice, that you can chose your own skin for the home page... presently we have 6 skins available to you -- Default SI skin, Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Spartans, Wolverines and Titans. Why Titans you ask, because my graphics guy is a UDM alumn and its the only way I could get him to do the rest of the images.
2.) The Message Board is now embedding inside the website. You can't see the link to the message board until you log in. Your forum id/password is the same as your website username/id. They are synch'd, so in theory, if you use the "remember me" button, when you log into one, you should be automatically logged into the other. IF YOU DON"T SEE THE LINK TO THE FORUMS its because your not logged in. Please log in ! IF YOU TRIED TO ACCESS THE MESSAGE BOARD by going around the website template and got transported here, its because all the features and components of the website are designed to be viewed from inside the website. The forums are not accessible from outside the website.
3.) The Ultimate Sportspage is an all Detroit Sports .rss feed. We are using Topix.net to feed the page with the latest Detroit Sports News from every website in the world. If you have a topic you'd like added to the USP, let us know.
4.) The User Blogs are available for all users. Before attempting your first post, yo need to request "author" status from a moderator or admin on the message board. We do this to prevent spam. Once you've been promoted to "author", go to the user menu, click on "submit SportsInferno Blog" and you can submit your opinion/story/humor/take on any subject your interesting in talking about. If your a regular contributor, we'll even set up your own blog (see NShlain Blog)
5.) Video of the Day doesn't automatically start. You have to click on it to get the video to play. Double click on it and it will open in a new window full size. Don't assume that these will always be safe for work.
