We are Fine
We are still on the air. We are not being reprimanded.
Everything is cool. But there was an incident on the Valenti and
Foster Show today when Operations Manager Tom Bigby came into the
studio and told us to cut a caller off the air and wanted us to go to
break. Everybody heard it so there is no denying it.
It was awkward and Mike and I did not know how to handle it.
This has never happened in my radio career. But things have changed.
There is a new sheriff in town and we must learn his rules and abide by them.
It is being talked about all over town and folks want to know if
Mike and I are ok. We are shaken but not stirred. And we are fine.
The lesson we must learn is that we cannot let every caller go
hog wild. We have to edit and must be more careful who we let on the
air.
So read into this as you want. That is the deal. I will be listening.
