Well.. I've been teasing this for over a month, because the trend numbers were so big, I just couldn't see how
the actuals could be dramatically different...
Well.. the actuals were dramatically different.. the actuals were even bigger.
Sports Inferno / Valenti & Foster : #1 in the Market (3-7pm, Men 25-54)
Folks are talking about this in the SportsInferno.com forums

Not only did the beat S&W, they crushed them..
How bad was it.. how about this.. the AM to AM number.. SportsInferno almost beat S&W. That's right.. the side note station 1270am alone almost booked better numbers 3-7 (Men 18+) then DFN had in the same time slot.
But when you look at WXYT-FM vs WDFN, 3pm to 7pm, Men 25-54; It was Sports Inferno at just over 4.5 to Stoney & Wojo's under 4.0 And if you combine the listenership it was nearly a 7 to less then 4.
So wow.. basically Mike and Terry doubled S&W numbers !
The best part.. not only did Sports Inferno beat S&W, they also beat D&D's numbers from last year ! A 37% increase in the total listeners cume.
Major Congratulations are in order.... way to go guys !!
Karsh and Anderson also won their time slot head to head with DFN..
Obviously XYT-FM won the overall book.. a low 4 number to a high 2 number.
BUT ALSO -- The current year vs previous year Fall Book Cume was up 30%
