As the days of the college football recruiting season dwindle down. It gets real comical how serious some people get during this time. No matter who's message board you frequent, you get wide spread panic and ridiculous stories among fans.
Did you hear that Willy Will decommitted and decided to go to Florida? That Urban Meyer must be cheating because there is no way Willy would leave my school to go to Florida!
Well my uncle knows someone at Pillsbury High School who went out with Milky Waters yesterday. She told my uncle, who told me, that he was going to USC. But he was supposed to go to Texas. What happened? Well, I heard that Pete Carroll told Milky that the girls were prettier at USC, so that is why he went there.
Oh my gosh! Michigan does not have a top 10 recruiting class! Lloyd Carr has lost touch with today's athletes. He Cant recruit anymore. He needs to retire. We are gonna suck next year! How can a school like Tennessee come into Michigan and take their kids?
Over and over and over again. This is what you hear.
Now there are quality sites out there that do a good job reporting what is going on. Sites like Rivals and Scout have people all over to try and report accurate stuff. But they really don't know 100 % if a kid is going to a certain school until signing day. They can only hope that what they were told was true.
It really is a Mad, Mad, recruiting world out there. It's funny to watch...
