There really is no way to describe your emotions while sitting in the stands watching history unfold. Excited, ecstatic, happy, nervous, even scared..Your heart sits and pounds away while you realize you are witnessing something that has not happened for the Tigers since 1984. A no hitter.
As the night is unfolding, your watching things that are not the norm happening. Magglio Ordonez making a great defensive play. Something that usually does not happen for the below average fielder.
"With Magglio in the outfield, I didn't think he was going to catch it," Brewers manager Ned Yost said. A great defensive play by Neifi Perez diving to stop a sure base hit up the middle and turning it into a double play. The only reason he was in the game was because Guillen had tweaked a hamstring the game before. There was also one other great defensive play that was overlooked and not on the highlight reel. A ball was hit sharply down the first base line and took a bad hop. Sean Casey gobbled it up like nothing happened. Plays like these make you realize something special is brewing.

What a game! My first ever playoff game and first hockey game in 24 years. Man being there is just amazing. The crowd was electric, even though it was not a sellout. My seats were unbelievable. Upper bowl blueline. A great time was had by all.
The best part of the game was the actual domination of Calgary. They were out shot, out hit, out hustled, and out played. If it wasn't for Kipper that would have been a 10-1 game. I'm still geeked at what a fantastic time I had..My wife who usually does not like watching hockey was able to follow the game better being there as well...

Wanna see your favorite hockey team on its quest for an eleventh Stanley Cup? Just remortgage your house. As the economy in the state of Michigan drops lower and lower, and unemployment keeps rising, the Detroit Red Wings still want to get paid.
As playoff tickets were released last week, a dumbfounded look came over my face. I said to myself, " the cheapest seat is 63.00 dollars"? I thought that I must have been looking at prices for the Stanley Cup finals. I rubbed my eyes and looked again. I just shook my head. That was the price for round one! Remember, this was for the cheapest, nose bleed seats. Other prices were $68, $81, $99, $126, and $144 per seat.....

Lets put this out there.Mike you obviously will not like my answer because I disagree with you.
First, Russell will NOT be there. The Raiders will take him with the #1 pick.
Second, NO to Calvin Johnson. You people Lambasted Millen for taking 3 receivers in 4 years, now its ok because Johnson MAY be a good receiver. I dont know how many times I have to keep bringing this up for you to see this.
Third, why is it that certain people overlook Peterson's problems with
Injuries? Just what the Lions need. Another running back that is Injury
prone..
All this stuff after WORKOUTS! Now all 3 are cant miss because they had good workouts

Are you a clone? I just don't get it. Year after year we lambaste Matt Millen because
of his inept drafting ability. We crucified him when he took three wide
receivers in four years. Callers and talk show hosts made fun of the
guy because he did that. Now all of a sudden the Lions cant pass on a
"cant miss" wide receiver in Calvin Johnson. Lets make it four wide
receivers in five years. That makes real sense. Lets just ignore our
bigger holes and keep adding wide receivers until we have a stable of 6
"great" ones. Stuff like this really makes me question some of your
thinking.
Let me make sure I'm correct here. I believe the Lions had a pro
bowl wide receiver in Roy Williams. That is not good enough, so lets
draft another receiver. Their "second" receiver lead the league in
receptions. That is not good enough either, so lets draft another
receiver. I get it. The Lions need a third receiver and that is where
Calvin Johnson will fit in.
