Jacksonville adds fuel to the fire

There are 2 schools of thought when preparing to play an opponent.

1.) Keep your mouth shut and/or be respectful and keep your comments brief.
2.) Talk smack and run your mouth.

When preparing to play the New England Patroits, the keep your mouth shut format has worked best in 08, witnessed in near upsets by Philly and Baltimore.

And Talk smack has proved to not be quite so successful.. witness Pittsburgh and Miami.

Evidently, the memo didn't reach Jacksonville.

It was bad enough when Paul Spicer (alum Saginaw Valley State) made some off the cuff comments earlier in the season.

And then he came back and reiterated those remarks after ESPN dug up the tape and asked him about it.
